Creating SPACE Workshop
A practical 2-hour leadership workshop that helps leaders slow down in the moments that matter most, interrupt reactive patterns, and respond with greater clarity, intention, and alignment.
BRING THIS TO YOUR TEAM
PAUSE | THINK | LEAD
LEADERSHIP HAPPENS IN THE SPACE BEFORE THE DECISION.
Creating Space helps leaders build the capacity to pause under pressure, notice what is happening, and choose how they want to respond instead of automatically reacting. The result is more grounded leadership, clearer decisions, and stronger alignment between intention and action.
CLARITY
Leaders learn how to pause, reset, and think more clearly in high-stakes moments.
AWARENESS
Leaders recognize their default patterns and learn how to interrupt automatic responses before they drive behavior.
INTENTION
Leaders connect how they show up with what matters most, creating stronger alignment between values, choices, and action.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Creating Space is an interactive 2-hour workshop for leaders and teams navigating pressure, growth, change, or complexity. Designed to meet leaders where they are, the experience blends simple concepts, guided mindfulness, reflection, discussion, practical exercises, and real leadership scenarios. Participants do not need to be meditators or experts. They leave with accessible tools, shared language, and practical resources they can use when pressure, urgency, or reactivity shows up.
DESIGNED FOR ENGAGEMENT:
- A simple leadership framework. A clear, memorable model leaders can use when pressure, conflict, or complexity shows up.
- Guided reflection. Time to connect the concepts to real leadership moments, decisions, and patterns.
- Mindfulness without the “woo.” A grounded approach to pausing, noticing, and resetting without needing to be a meditator.
- Real-world leadership application. Scenarios and prompts that help leaders apply the work to meetings, feedback, change, conflict, and decision-making.
- Actionable takeaways. Practical tools leaders can use immediately to interrupt reactivity and lead with more intention.
1. THE ENVIRONMENT WE ARE LEADING IN
Leaders are operating in constant motion. Pressure is high, attention is fragmented, and decisions often need to be made quickly.
Outcome: Leaders understand why creating space is not a “nice to have.” It is a leadership capacity that helps people think, respond, and lead more effectively
2. WHY WE REACT UNDER PRESSURE
When pressure rises, the brain often defaults to speed, protection, control, or avoidance. These patterns are human, but they can get in the way of clear leadership.
Outcome: Leaders learn to recognize the reactive patterns that show up in themselves and their teams.
3. THE SPACE BETWEEN STIMULUS & RESPONSE
Between what happens and how we respond, there is a space. That space is where leadership happens.
Outcome: Leaders learn to identify moments when they have more choice than they realize.
4. THE CREATING SPACE FRAMEWORK
Leaders are introduced to a simple framework for moving from reaction to intention:
Be → Observe → Assess → Reflect → Do
They learn to choose how they want to show up before choosing what they need to do.
Outcome: Leaders leave with a repeatable framework they can use in meetings, conversations, decisions, conflict, and change.
5. REAL-TIME APPLICATION
This workshop is interactive, reflective, and grounded in real work. Leaders apply the framework to actual leadership moments they are navigating.
Outcome: Leaders leave with practical tools they can use immediately, not just ideas they understand conceptually.
